In this article, the dialogue between young and very old people is examined structurally and with regards to contents in the context of education and learning. Topics, interpretations and motivations are the factors which decide how educational and learning processes of different generations can be shaped and understood.
Validierung wird als eine intermittierend angelegte Selbstvergewisserung im Verlauf lebenslanger Bildung verstanden, die jetzt schon im Kontext informeller Anerkennung praktiziert wird. Der anerkennungstheoretische Diskurs bietet wichtige Anregungen, in welchem pädagogischen Aufgabenverständnis sich Erwachsenenbildung für dieses Erfordernis zuständig erklären sollte. Perspektivisch kann Validierung zu einer intermediären Struktur in einem integrierten Gesamtbildungssystems entwickelt werden.

Here, information, education and advice are all provided at one spot. Management models, structures and the effects of cooperation are elaborated based on this form of cooperation.
Production and communication in adult- and further education research Since years questions of adult education and further education are worked on by research in Switzerland. Also the universities participate. Etymologically contemplated, »validation« labels a process though which an object is awarded sturdiness or worthiness. In the educational area the word - under consideration listed in the series »glossary« here – aims at the process of acknowledgement and on making use of informally acquired competencies. The term »validation« is therewith the counterpart in the area of informal learning for »certification« in contexts of formal education.
