Similar to the literary cafés there is the model of “philosophical cafés”. It first came into being in France in 1992 by M. Sautet. By now it is also recited by adult education. It is based on the statement “All people are philosophers“ and it animates a daily routine of philosophical discussions. Das Thema Beurteilung wird auf dem Hintergrund des komplexen Handlungsfeldes der Modernisierung - ihrer spezifischen paradoxen Dynamiken - mit den Aspekten: Struktur, Kultur, Person und Natur verbunden und an markanten Beispielen kritisch bewertet.
Dargestellt werden die Ergebnisse einer kleinen empirischen Untersuchung, die den Rahmen und die Inhalte von Vernetzungen von Weiterbildungseinrichtungen in der Region Bergisches Land kritisch überprüft hat. Danach gibt es zwar Kooperationen - bilaterale Beziehungen, aber von Vernetzung der Weiterbildung - mit einem politischen Gestaltungswillen - kann kaum gesprochen werden.
