Anna Siemsen beschäftigte sich mit einem arbeitsbezogenen Bildungsbegriff und der doppelten Herausforderung der Frauenbildung als hauswirtschaftliche und berufsbildende Aufgabenstellung. Zwischen 1923 und 1933 war sie in vielfältigen Zusammenhängen der Erwachsenenbildung einbezogen.
