Im Beitrag werden erste Ergebnisse des Dissertationsprojektes Digitalisierung im Lehralltag an Hochschulen vorgestellt. Im Fokus stehen Lehrende und ihre Erfahrungswirklichkeit in Hinsicht auf Digitalisierung und digitale Medien. Anhand ausgewählter Beispiele aus dem Bereich der Ingenieurwissenschaft en werden kollektive Orientierungs-muster herausgearbeitet. Due to the ongoing process of globalization, the need for trainings for intercultural competences increases. The study aims to measure the meaningfulness of intercultural training without additional coaching. Therefore, it assessed the level of intercultural competence of participants with and without an intercultural training in a cross-sectional study design. The study examines how research-based learning, based on grounded theory, might enhance students learning abilities. In the context of a qualitative experiment, two groups of students were introduced to research-based learning. The students involved were asked about their learning experiences afterwards.
