Dargestellt wird der Entstehungszusammenhang, die Projektgegenstände und die Aufgaben und das Vorgehen der wissenschaftlichen Begleitforschung zum Programm "Schule - Wirtschaft/Arbeitsleben". Einem vom BMBF geförderten Programm das helfen soll, den Übergang von der Schule ins Berufsleben zu verbessern. Aufgabe der Begleitforschung ist die Evaluation und Beratung, die Organisation von Tagungen und die Vernetzung der Projekte via Internet.
This article is devoted to workplace learning. Rather than formulating normative claims regarding educational processes, the aim is to empirically examine the conditions under which workplace learning takes place. The focus is on the process of needs assessment as part of program planning. Firstly, this process and the stakeholders involved are described for different types of programs. Die Europäische Kommission hat zwischen dem 4. November 2002 und dem 28. Februar 2003 eine weit angelegte öffentliche Konsultation zur Entwicklung der neuen europäischen Programme in den Bereichen allgemeine und berufliche Bildung und Jugend gestartet.
